I thought it would be interesting to see just how accurate the report system I have in place on my site would be in the case of David Beckham. To be incredibly frank, I'm worried about him here. The move occurred under a Saturn/Neptune opposition with Venus, his sign ruler, due to go retrograde. Saturn/Neptune can speak of having to address the reality of our dream. The aspect has been in operation for the previous year or so, when David was contemplating his move. His arrival more than lived up to the glamour and hype but will he be feted for long or will the attention of the American's soon wane? Will he be terribly homesick? Neptune can build an image up but it can also tear it down. I think there's a danger that he may have been seduced by the idea of the lifestyle but once the reality of living in La-La land wears thin, he could just become uncharacteristically susceptible to all the other things on offer in the land of plenty.
Image is all to the 'Brand Beckham' machine but underneath his posing, David is just a simple, very focused guy who knows what he likes and likes what he knows. He's probably too nice for the competitive social side of California. David openly admits he is not the most clever and articulate person on Earth but his looks, personable demeanour and raw talent have got him far in Europe and he just loves playing football. David is at the very top of the fame ladder, he's not there for the money and there's no where else to go. If David doesn't consistently perform on the pitch, or suffers injury, my guess is his inner insecurities will surface and he'll start to feel emasculated if Victoria is not sensitive to him.
Here's David's (shortened) report for the next year. Don't get me wrong, moving to this location will bring many blessings and he will feel at home here at first but Neptune suggests something may leave him feeling vulnerable and at sea. For a highly spiritual person Neptune influences heighten the ability to feel at one with life and nature.
